During this course, we have focused on the importance of diversity and inclusion from a legal standpoint, an ethical standpoint, and a community building effort. In addition, we have focused on the strategies for transforming the organization’s culture to be conducive for diversity and inclusion. During Unit VIII, we have specifically focused on how to create organizational cultures that focus on diversity and inclusion and strategies that can be implemented to promote diversity and inclusion. For your reflection paper, you will consider the following: 

What have you learned about creating inclusive and diverse organizational cultures that you can incorporate into your own work environment (or a work environment that you hope to be a part of someday)? 

Use this opportunity to explore the changes that you can make and the changes that you can use your voice to influence. 

Include concepts from this unit and previous units to reflect upon the importance of diversity and inclusion in all organizations. 

The reflection paper should be a minimum of three pages full in length and include one scholarly source (not found within this unit’s Required and Suggested Unit Resources).
